Spring cleaning is here, and that means it’s time for fresh starts—new routines, deep cleans, and maybe even a little out with the old, in with the new. But while most people focus on decluttering their closets, I want to talk about something even more important: your pantry.
If you’re anything like me, your pantry is where good intentions meet late-night cravings. It’s easy to stock up on “better-for-you” options, only to find yourself reaching for that old bag of mystery-ingredient snacks when hunger hits. So, this season, I challenge you to spring clean your pantry—without giving up the fun stuff.
Here’s how:
1. Check your labels – Take a look at what’s actually in your go-to snacks and sauces. If it’s full of artificial junk, preservatives, or ingredients you can’t pronounce, it might be time to swap it out.
2. Upgrade your favorites – Instead of ditching foods you love, find better versions of them. That’s exactly why I created Credo—so you can still enjoy cheesy, nostalgic goodness without the questionable ingredients. One of our favorite pantry items is our Oat Milk Queso! It’s nutritious and delicious.
3. Stock up on quick, healthy go-tos – We all get busy, and that’s when we’re most likely to reach for whatever is convenient. Keep your pantry full of high-protein snacks, whole foods, and clean-ingredient treats so you never feel like you’re missing out.
4. Make food fun again – Spring cleaning isn’t about restriction; it’s about resetting in a way that works for you. Food should feel exciting, not like a chore. So, try new recipes, experiment with flavors, and find joy in eating well.
This March, let’s refresh the way we snack, cook, and eat—because better choices should never feel like a sacrifice.
Good times, better food.
