I’m 42 years old, and this month I decided to do something that feels very on brand for where I’m at in life right now:
I’m adding more—not cutting out.
I’m doing the PlantStrong Real30, and honestly? I’m loving how simple and abundant it feels.
Here’s the entire framework:
30 different plants per week
30 minutes of movement a day
30 days of adding more, not restricting
No food guilt. No “starting over Monday.” No white-knuckling your way through meals you don’t enjoy.
Just nourishment, consistency, and real food.
Tonight’s dinner (aka proof this works)
Dinner tonight was cozy, comforting, and deeply satisfying:
PlantStrong black bean burger mix
PlantStrong black bean chili
Credo oat milk queso blanco (because queso makes everything better)
All wrapped up into an oil-free burrito that delivered 42 different plants in one meal.
(Yes—42 plants for 42 years old
)
That one burrito alone put me over my 30-plant goal for the week, and it didn’t feel like a “health meal.” It felt like comfort food.
What Real30 is really teaching me
The biggest shift for me isn’t physical—it’s mental.
When you focus on abundance instead of restriction, everything changes:
- You stop obsessing over what you can’t have
- You naturally crowd out ultra-processed food
- You feel energized instead of deprived
That’s how I want to eat. That’s how I want to live. And that’s exactly how we think about food at Credo.
You can start anytime
If you’re curious about Real30, here’s the best part: you can start any day.
And if you share your meals or journey, tag @goplantstrong and use #Real30 to be entered into their giveaway (Credo included
).
Good food.
Good energy.
Good times.
